About the founders

My name is Bee Kim. I’m a passionate philosophy student currently at Oxford and Reed College. With years of experience as an educational consultant and tutor, I’ve supported over 50 students through every stage of their academic journey. I bring both empathy and academic excellence to my work, a deep commitment to thoughtful, individualized guidance as well as highly flexible communication with my students and their parents.

I’m Ken Cook, a Math and Philosophy double major who loves questions and tricky problems. I’ve worked with all kinds of learners from kids who think differently to students tackling advanced material and I’m passionate about making abstract ideas click in concrete ways. Whether we’re breaking down algebra or diving into logic, I focus on curiosity, clarity, and meeting each student where they are.
